The Exogrid concept is simple: increase handle stiffness without increasing the weight of the bat. Metal is trimmed in a grid pattern, then replaced with carbon composite inserts that are several times stronger and lighter than the metal they replace. The composite hybrid and ST+20 alloy, the toughest bat alloy on the market today, allow for increased stiffness in the handle, providing maximum flex for the barrel. With a 2 5/8" barrel and -3 length-to-weight ratio, the Exogrid meets all college and high school BESR bat standards. Has a synthetic grip and 31/32" tapered handle.
